Artist Statement

My artistic practice combines the skills I’ve developed in studio art with my passion for interior design. I focus on concept development, using composition, color, and texture to create functional and visually engaging spaces. I aim to design interiors that feel balanced and intentional, incorporating natural materials, organic shapes, and earthy tones to bring a sense of calm and connection to the environment. Whether through natural lighting, indoor plants, or raw textures like wood and stone, I strive to create spaces that feel grounded and harmonious. My approach ensures that each design choice enhances both aesthetics and usability, making spaces that are not only beautiful but also practical and inviting.

I am drawn to interior design because of its ability to influence how people experience their surroundings. A well-designed space should provide comfort, inspiration, and a sense of connection, both to the people who use it and to nature itself. I believe that integrating natural elements into interiors enhances well-being, creating environments that feel both refreshing and restorative. Bringing the outdoors in, whether through biophilic design, sustainable materials, or nature-inspired color palettes, creates a sense of tranquility that allows people to feel more at ease in their space. My goal is to design interiors that not only reflect the personality and needs of their occupants but also foster a deeper sense of belonging. By prioritizing thoughtful material choices, intentional layouts, and a seamless blend of nature and design, I strive to create interiors that are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and deeply rooted in the calming influence of the natural world.
